The Université de Moncton Continuing Education offers many programs and courses through its Edmundston, Moncton and Shippagan campuses and also in Bathurst and Campbellton. For the entire network of the Université, this department organises and supports continuing education and professional development courses, day training sessions, workshops, conferences and seminars for part-time students.

Bursaries and Financial Assistance

The Continuing Education Office of the Université de Moncton will award a limited number of bursaries with a value of between $200 to $500 to students admitted to a part-time study program at one of its three campuses.


To be eligible for a bursary, one must be registered in a study program or a French as a second language class offered on a part-time basis at the Université de Moncton, be registered to at least one course, have paid the tuition fees, demonstrate a financial need or have good academic results and not have been engaged in a full-time study program at l'Université de Moncton during the 12-month period preceding the date of application.

The application deadlines

Spring-Summer session: May 15
Fall Session: September 15
Winter Session: January 15


It is thanks to the generosity of several supporters that academic scholarships can be awarded to our students: Canadian Heritage (OLE Program), the late Dr. William-L.-Webster (Scoudouc Scholarship), Mrs. Claudette Beaulieu (former Continuing Education Director), Mr. Patrick Maltais (former Continuing Education Director), the late Mr. Alphonse Gaudet (former professor at the Faculté des sciences de l’éducation) as well as the Edmundston, Moncton and Shippagan campuses of the Université de Moncton.

Financial Assistance

Canada Student Loans program allows you to apply for a loan for part-time and (or) Special Opportunity Grant. Loans vary according to the needs.

Grants for special initiatives are designed to help students and part-time students who are not able to meet the eligibility criteria of the program of student loans.
