International Summer Course on the Rights of the Child

Dear Colleagues,

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the public health measures required in response, we have decided to postpone, to a presently undetermined date, the 9th edition of the International Summer Course on the Rights of the Child. With our presentation partners, we regret having to inform you of this decision and will provide you with an update regarding the new dates for this training event once the health crisis has subsided and that we will be able to make firm plans. In order to request a reimbursement of any registrations paid, please make this request at droitsdelenfant@umoncton.ca. Despite the circumstances, we will make every effort to process these requests as efficiently as possible.

Thank you for your collaboration,

The International Summer Course on the Rights of the Child Management Team

************************

Since 2012, the International Summer Course on the Rights of the Child has provided a unique opportunity for professionals to advance the children’s rights agenda and to strengthen and expand expertise. Available to any person and/or professional with an intentional interest in children’s rights, the summer course helps to strengthen national capacities to defend the rights of all children. This has been made evident by the growing participation of institutional actors such as child and youth advocates, lawyers, professionals in the fields of health, education, early childhood studies, and social work, and many others. In addition to a learning event it is a wonderful occasion for network development and collaboration.
