To maintain your rights and privileges as a member of the CEPS, please follow the procedures listed below:
Your member card is your pass to the CEPS and must be shown at the welcome desk each time you come in to access our facilities. This card is nontransferable and nonrefundable. (Exception: see refunds.)
Helpers of severely physically or mentally challenged persons are admitted free of charge to the CEPS; service animals are also permitted.
Most people can exercise without potential problems. But medical advice is necessary for some individuals. For this reason, before you may become a member, you must complete the CSEP medical questionnaire, which aims to identify those individuals who should undergo a physical before beginning physical activity.
The management of CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud reserves the right to revoke or suspend any member card if that member acts in an abusive manner or in any manner that endangers the safety or enjoyment of others.
Refunds
Refunds for member cards are authorized in cases where the member moves to another region or where a long-term injury or illness prevents the member from exercising. In such cases, the CEPS management reserves the right to request a doctor’s note.
All requests for refunds are subject to a $25.00 administrative fee; however, there is no charge for extensions when applicable.
Card Fraud
CEPS member cards and student cards are meant for personal use and are consequently NONTRANSFERABLE. Anyone attempting to use a falsified card or a card belonging to another person will be denied access to the CEPS. Any member attempting to bring another person in fraudulently will be asked to leave and may lose membership privileges (without refund) for a period of up to three (3) months.
Payment Methods
You can pay your membership dues in cash, by credit card (Visa or Master Card), by direct payment (debit card), or by cheque made out to Université de Moncton.
Card Replacement Fees
In case of damage, loss, or theft of your card, you must pay a $5 replacement fee.
