Absorption, Francine Larivée

Absorption, Francine Larivée

The Millennium Ecological Park’s second permanent artwork was created by Francine Larivée in 2004, during the first Art Nature Symposium held in the park. Called Absorption, the piece uses willows for their absorbing properties, especially as a symbol to counter pollution. The artwork’s site was specifically chosen for the soil’s humidity, as it is located near a spring.
