I
am pleased to present this annual report for 2014-2015. The document
highlights the progress achieved during the past year in relation to the five
key areas of our strategic plan. It underscores the achievements of our
university community represented by a few of its key members.
Our strategic plan is the itinerary that will lead us to the year 2020. It
stems from a reflection and a vast consultation within the university
community and New Brunswick’s Francophone and Acadian society as
well as with our main private sector partners and civil society stakeholders.
In order to best be able to focus on 2020, our executive team, in 2015,
established an action plan stemming from the strategic plan’s key
areas, main orientations and strategic objectives. Actions and results
will be presented annually on our Website at

versludem2020.
The last year was full of successes for the Université de Moncton. We also
had our fair share of challenges. I am convinced that we have the tools we
need to reach our goals by 2020. We are determined to reflect, to consult
and to act in order to ensure that university education remains relevant
in our society. We are convinced that our university must continue to play
an important role in providing the human capital required to maintain the
vitality of our communities.
In closing, I thank our students, faculty, staff members, graduates as well
as our champions in the community. I also salute the contribution of our
chancellor, Board of Governors’ chair and members, Academic Senate
members and my colleagues on the executive team. I am privileged to be
able to count on your support.
