FOCUS ON 2020
Our campuses
The Université de Moncton was created in 1963. Its three campuses are
located in New Brunswick, in Edmundston, Moncton and Shippagan.
A generalist institution, it offers a range of study programs at the
undergraduate and graduate university levels to respond to the needs of
the population it serves. The only French-language university of its size
outside Quebec, it offers its services to the vast French-speaking diaspora
across Canada, making it the most important symbol of linguistic and
cultural vitality for the Francophone population living outside Quebec. It
attracts an ever-increasing number of international students from more
than forty countries.
