The Climatic and Hydroscience Lab focuses mainly on the following themes:

• Study stream temperature dynamics and associated river heat fluxes;
• Modeling floods and droughts under historical conditions as well as under different climate change scenarios;
• Modeling river water temperature under natural conditions and under climate change scenarios;
• Adress instream flow issues to protect aquatic resources within river systems;
• Study of river hydrology and hydraulics as well as human impacts;
• Water security;
• Hydrometric networks;
• Flood zone mapping.
