55 UMoncton athletes on U SPORTS Honour Roll

There are 55 athletes from the Moncton campus of the Université de Moncton sports teams who are on the U SPORTS Academic Honor Roll for the 2021-2022 academic and sports season.

“Congratulations to these students and athletes for their academic achievements while playing high-caliber sport,” said Martine LeBlanc, Director of University Athletics. You must know your priorities and organize your time to succeed, and you have succeeded brilliantly. You have represented the institution well.”

These athletes maintained an academic average of 3.7 or higher during the academic year. The athletes are:

Women's volleyball: Jasmine Allain, Richibucto kinesiology; Joanie Arsenault, Tracadie elementary education; Émilie-Anne Chiasson Rivière-à-la-truite in social work; and Cassidy Martin Saint-Charles education.

Women's soccer: Louise Aucoin Chéticamp  in DSS; Zoe Brockbank Grande-Digue in education; Isabelle Brun Dieppe in nutrition; Danielle Castonguay, Atholville in sports, recreation and tourism management; Alexane Dupuis Dieppe in education; Katarina Laevski Campbellton in DSS; and Alexandra Roy Shediac Bridge in education.

Women's hockey: Audrey Berthiaume Saint-Bruno in psychology; Cassandra Call Navan in education; Alexia Desforges Clarence-Rockland in kinesiology; Lianne Desforges, Clarence-Rockland in criminology; Clémence Dumesnil Laval in education; Marika Gagnon Embrun in phycology; Maritza Labrie Saint-Quentin in administration; Émilie Lalancette St. Andrews West in education; Pascale Lebeau Louiseville in biochemistry; and Janie Poitras Saint-André in education.

Athletics: Yannick Boudreau Dieppe in education; Samuel Bourque Notre-Dame in administration; Martine Haché Miramichi in nursing; Rachelle Haché Miramichi in nursing; Kyla Hughes Cocagne in kinesiology; Monica Mazerolle Rexton in education; Charlotte Neander Calgary in nursing; Lucas Poirier Aldouane in criminology; Samuel Robichaud Moncton in biochemistry; Jérémie Thériault Saint-Louis-de-Kent in kinesiology; and Julien Thibodeau Bathurst in mathematics.

Men's soccer: Ryan Breau Moncton in DSS; Gaël Cousin Héric in history; Jérémie Imbeault Moncton in kinesiology; André LeBlanc Dieppe in engineering; Thomas Maillet Moncton in biochemistry; and Pascal Sonier North Tetagouche in engineering.

Cross-country: Amélie Cormier Caraquet in nutrition; Myriam Cormier Caraquet in arts; Jérémy Gervais Dieppe in biochemistry; Alain Lavoie Dieppe in education; Vincent Leclair Balmoral in education; Isabella Lemaire Dieppe in DSS; and Camille Ruest Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska in French studies.

Men's hockey: Mika Cyr Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska in education; Wilson Forest Matane in criminology; Olivier-Luc Haché Savoie Landing in kinesiology; Dorian Laganière Granby in DSS; Yann-Félix Lapointe Granby in kinesiology; Justin Miron Mirabel in kinesiology; Nathaël Roy Lévis in engineering; Émile Samson Lévis in administration; Edouard St-Laurent Lévis in education; and Gabriel Vanier Boisbriand in administration.
