Université de Moncton becomes the first institution in New Brunswick to join MyCreds™| MesCertif

Université de Moncton students and graduates will now be able to securely access and share digitized diplomas and transcripts online, 24/7.

Université de Moncton will begin issuing digital diplomas to its graduates through the MyCreds™ National Network learner portal owned by the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC). Université de Moncton is the first post-secondary institution in New Brunswick to join MyCreds™ and the first French language university to launch outside of Québec.

"Université de Moncton, together with its communities, is committed to finding viable solutions to contemporary issues while acting eco-responsibly, and this digital shift is a step in the right direction. For us, it was important to make this change to make the sharing of official documents more accessible, efficient, and secure, while ensuring trustworthiness and reliability. This digital shift will benefit not only our university community, but also our graduates and current and potential employers who request these documents," said Stéfanie Wheaton, Registrar of the Université de Moncton. "I want to thank our teams on our three campuses who worked hard to make this project happen. We are proud to innovate and pave the way for other universities in New Brunswick and elsewhere in the Canadian Francophonie."

The MyCreds™| MesCertif™ platform gives Université de Moncton learners private online access to their official academic documents and ensures they hold sovereignty as to when and with whom they are shared. Documents issued through MyCreds™| MesCertif™ are tamper-evident and can be easily and securely shared with other colleges and universities, employers, government and third parties.

Université de Moncton will use MyCreds™| MesCertif™ as a secure and official means to issue their official documents, such as diplomas, transcripts, confirmation of enrolment and confirmation of diplomas.

"Université de Moncton is the first New-Brunswick institution to join the ARUCC MyCreds™| MesCertif™ National Network,” says Julie Green, president of ARUCC. “We are thrilled to welcome them and to be of help to their domestic and international students with online official documents and improved student and professional mobility. UMoncton is joining an international network that provides digital wallets using innovative technology to over 3M learners around the world. MyCreds™| MesCertif™ is a fully bilingual platform that is well adapted to our reality.”
