Aigles Bleues play Panthers Wednesday in Charlottetown
With two losses to its record, the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues will cross the Confederation Bridge on Wednesday for a return game with the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers in Atlantic University Sport women's hockey at 7 p.m.
The Panthers doubled the Blue and Gold 2-1 in the opening game of the season last Friday and Marc-André Côté's team intends to return with its first victory of the young season.
“It's difficult to change our strategies with games so close to each other,” said head coach Marc-André Côté. “We know our opponents better and we need to display better execution on our part. We deserved a better fate on Friday against them. We know what to expect.”
Moncton led 22-16 on shots on goal in that initial game of the season.
