Donald J. Savoie is awarded the Mildred A. Schwartz Lifetime Achievement Award (2022)
Professor Donald J. Savoie will receive the Mildred A. Schwartz Lifetime Achievement Award (2022), awarded by the American Political Science Association (APSA), on September 15, 2022, in Montreal.
“I want to express a sincere thank you to the American Political Science Association (APSA) for this honour. It means a great deal to me. The best honour anyone can receive is one that is given by their peers. Peers know full well the requirements of the work of fellow academics,” insisted M. Savoie.
The Schwartz Lifetime achievement award goes to scholars who have made significant contributions through their career to the study of Canadian politics, either through development of political analysis of Canada or through incorporating Canada as a significant case in comparative political analyses.
