Izold Guihur is the Interim Dean of the Faculty of Administration
Dr. Izold Guihur has been appointed Interim Dean of the Faculty of Administration at the Université de Moncton for a period of six months, effective July 1, 2022. This appointment follows that of the current dean, Sébastien Deschênes, to the position of Vice-Rector at the Edmundston campus.
Dr. Guihur holds a BSc (1990) in Biology from McGill University in Montreal, a BSc (1994) in Materials Engineering and Metallurgy, Technological Innovation Orientation from École Polytechnique de Montréal, an MSc (2000) in Project Management and a PhD (2010) in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. After working as an analyst, metallurgical engineer, registrar, research professional and lecturer, she began her career at the Université de Moncton in 2010 as a professor in management.
Dr. Guihur will be promoted to full professor in July 2022. She has held the role of Associate Professor since July 2015 and has been Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Administration since July 2016. She has extensive research experience and has been active in the training of researchers as well as participating in numerous evaluation committees.
The process to fill the position of Dean of the Faculty of Administration will begin in the coming weeks.
