Volleyball Aigles Bleues play final season game
The Monette Boudreau-Carroll coached team (3-16=6 points, 5th position) will not have an easy task as they host first place Dalhousie University Tigers (17-1=34 points), Saturday at 4p.m. in the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud gymnasium.
The coach is aware her team can play better. “We want to offer good competition and take the opportunity to play well and not let ourselves be intimidated by the Tigers,” Boudreau-Carroll said. “The players wish to continue their learning and demonstrate that they are capable. We aim to compete and give ourselves a boost for next season.”
Rookie Eliza Druart indicates the team wants to finish the season on a positive note. “We will play as a team and do our best to finish the season positively,” said the rookie. “I really appreciated playing university caliber volleyball this season. It was a huge adjustment for me, but we worked hard to raise our play. We are a close team and we play as a unit. I am happy with my first season. We will continue our progress and strive for a championship.”
Fourth season player Pascale Doiron will be recognized prior to the game on Saturday.
