Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (12-14-1=25 points, 6th place) wish to end the regular season on a positive note as they visit Mount Allison University Mounties (4-22-0=8 points, 8th position), in Sackville in an Atlantic University Sport women’s hockey game on Saturday evening, at 5p.m.

The Aigles did win its last outing and coach Marc-André Côté doesn’t want his troop to fall in a trap. “We aim to win this last regular season game,” he said. “We want to play with the same energy and intensity as we did on Wednesday to be ready for the playoffs. I don’t want this team to return to its bad habits. We need to confirm our plays. Our special units played well and they should continue on that wave. They can influence the outcome of the game.”

Team captain Cassandra Labrie is anxious for her last regular season game. « The way we played on Wednesday has given us confidence for this game,” she said. “We need to play for the two points and work hard.”

In her last season, Katryne Villeneuve is first in the AUS scoring race with 34 points on 18 goals and 16 assists… Katherine Dubuc is 7th with 20 points (8-12)… The game is the last in regular season for both 5th year Villeneuve and Labrie in a blue and gold uniform… The Mounties have lost their last four games.
