Carol-Ann MacDonald and Jean-Michel Dako Are Université de Moncton Athletes of the Week

Cross-country runner, Carol-Ann MacDonald, of Irishtown, and soccer player Jean-Michel Dako, of Moncton, were chosen as Physiotherapy Sportmed athletes of the week for the period from September 17 to 23, 2018 by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department.

Carol-Ann MacDonald won a second bronze medal in as many weeks for her third-place finish in the women 6 km cross-country race held in Antigonish, on Saturday. She registered a time of 23:19;460, less than one second behind the winner. She is sciences-nutrition student.

Striker Jean-Michel Dako scored twice during the weekend games. He was a leader in the field during both games. He had three shots and a goal on Saturday and the same statistics on Sunday. He is a bachelor of administration-marketing student.
