Hockey Aigles Bleus still looking for a first win
The Judes Vallée team is looking forward to its first 2017-2018 victory. “We are playing a very good team and we should do well,” stated Vallée. “We seem to play better against the top teams and I am encouraged by the progress made on our system of plays. I realize the results are slow to come, but it is a question time. It takes some time for a process to be completed. We are doing the minor things better. Our rivalry against the top teams is a motivation for our players and we play better.”
Defenceman Sébastien Gauthier believes progress is being made by the Bleu et Or when the team plays in its system. “It is evident, as we look at the game video, that when we forget the system, things fall apart on the ice,” said Gauthier. “We need to be disciplined and all five players on the ice must be on the same page. All games are important; we need to pay particular attention to the minute details and limit our errors.”
This will be the first game for Judes Vallée during the homecoming activities of the Université de Moncton. Several former players will attend the game. Alexi Thibaudeau will get the nod in front of the net. Alexis Roy should return to the line-up. Thierry Comtois and Joey Richard will miss the game because of injuries.
