New Brunswick Pianist Roger Lord Named in China on list of ''150 Illustrious Things and People from Canada''

In this year of the 150th anniversary of the Canadian confederation, the Chinese website Sina-Weibo, which has millions of followers, is featuring “150 Illustrious Things and People from Canada” throughout the year.
The Moncton pianist, who just returned a few days ago from China where he was invited to perform a concert for Canada Day in Beijing, is mentioned on this select list compiled by the Canadian Embassy alongside James Cameron, Denis Villeneuve, David Suzuki, Roméo Dallaire, Louise Arbour, Margaret Atwood, Alice Monroe, Glenn Gould, Oscar Peterson, Diana Krall, the “Canadarm”, Cirque du Soleil, Ryan Gosling, Donald Sutherland and Céline Dion.
