Change Management: Overcoming Resistance

This workshop is designed to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills to effectively lead and support change initiatives. It is based on research and best practices that are then translated into practical and proven strategies for success in the workplace. Particular emphasis is placed on the work of John Kotter, one of the leading authorities on change management principles and practices.

Goals:

  • Articulate a vision for a change initiative;
  • Develop and implement a change management plan;
  • Identify and address resistance to change;
  • Engage and empower people to act;
  • Institutionalize the change.

Location/Delivery: Comodal (Option of participating in person on the Moncton campus or virtually)

Duration: 6 hours

Schedule: February 22, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Fees: $375 + HST

Continuing Education Units (CEU's): 0.6

Trainer: Maxime Labbé

With more than 20 years of diversified experience in human resources, Maxime is a senior manager at Groupe Conseil Montana. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from Laval University. He acquired his experience at Concert Airlaid Ltd. (Glatfelter Ltd.) in Gatineau before joining the accounting firm Grant Thornton LLP as Human Resources Manager for New Brunswick, where he contributed to the development and implementation of a national coaching model. A consultant with Montana since 2009, Maxime is a master trainer for the Turnaround Interview™ training.
