    Français de conversation (débutant) / Conversational French (Beginner)

    Would you like to be able to understand what is being said around you? Would you like to join in the conversation? Don’t miss out! These conversation classes are the perfect opportunity for you to practice speaking and understanding French. The course will enable you to expand your vocabulary and give you the opportunity to use it. Conversations and activities will cover a broad range of interests.

    The purpose of the course is to develop general knowledge of the language and basic skills while initiating participants to the francophone and Acadian culture. Participants will be invited to practice French sentences and use vocabulary in specific contexts.  In addition, participants will improve their listening skills and acquire new vocabulary. This introductory-level course is a wonderful and enriching opportunity for people who wish to practice French in an interactive environment where errors are allowed!

    Learning objectives:   

    • Improve your vocabulary
    • Understand what is being said
    • Be able to respond
    • Improve your pronunciation
    • Learn to use expressions from here and abroad
    • Build sentences
    • Be able to speak using the past, present and future tenses

    Target Audience: This course is suitable for non-francophones who wish to begin facing the challenge of learning French as a second language.

    Location: Moncton

    Dates: Monday evenings, from February to April (Starting on February 1st)

    Time: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (2 hrs/week during 10 weeks)

    Registration Fee: $275 + HST

    Please register at least 2 weeks prior to the start date.
