The following day, Sunday, September 1, the two teams will take on the Acadia University Axewomen and Axemen in Wolfville at 5 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. respectively. The first home game will be on Thursday, Sept. 5 when the Mount Allison University Mounties visit the Aigles Bleues and Aigles Bleus at 5 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. at Stade Croix Bleue Medavie Stadium on the Moncton campus. On Sunday, September 8, the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers will play at 1 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. at the same venue. Each team will play a schedule of 12 games during the two months of action.

“We will start training on August 11 for the next campaign,” said Aigles Bleues coach Mehyar Zekaroui. “The players are looking forward to the new season with enthusiasm. The two home games at the beginning of September should give us energy for the rest of the season.”

The coach of the Aigles Bleus Younes Bouida will be able to count on new recruits with his capable veterans. “Starting the season on the road is an opportunity to promote our team spirit,” he said. “Our two home games after that will allow the players to show our skills in front of our fans. We will start our training on August 16th.”

“We're looking forward to the next season, which is fast approaching,” added Aigles Bleues player Mariève Allain. “We've been preparing this winter and we're going to keep training this summer to be ready for the season. We're expecting a different year and we're very appreciative of our fan support.”

The Atlantic University Sport Championships will be held at UNB for the men and StFX for the women from October 24 to 27. The U SPORTS championships are scheduled for November 7 to 10 in Halifax (Dalhousie) on the women's side and at Ontario Tech University on the men's side.
