Pierre Philippe Ferguson Named Interim Vice-President of Shippagan Campus
The Executive Committee of the Board of Governors has ratified the appointment of Pierre Philippe Ferguson as Interim Vice-President of the Shippagan campus (UMSC) for a period of six months, effective July 1, 2024, to replace Sid Ahmed Selouani, who will complete his term on June 30, 2024. Selouani will resume his role as a professor at the institution.
Pierre Philippe Ferguson has been at the Université de Moncton since 2010, first as a lecturer, then as a professor since 2013. He holds a PhD in Physics from Dalhousie University (2009), an MSc in Physics from Université de Moncton (2007), and a BSc in Physics, also from Université de Moncton (2004).
He was responsible for Continuing Education at UMCS and represented UMCS at the meeting of vice-deans, in addition to taking part in the Université de Moncton's training program for managers and executives.
