Establishing a Prize to Honour the Late Professor Yassine Bouslimani
A new prize has just been created in honour of the late professor and researcher Yassine Bouslimani, who passed away last November.
The Yassine Bouslimani Prize in Engineering is awarded annually to a graduate student in the Faculty of Engineering at the Université de Moncton in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.
The late Yassine Bouslimani, a full professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering in the Faculty of Science, was a distinguished member of the academic community and leaves a remarkable legacy in the field of engineering.
In establishing this award, his colleagues in the Faculty of Engineering wish to commemorate his dedication, commitment and outstanding contribution to teaching and research, and to celebrate excellence in engineering, a value that Professor Bouslimani embodied to perfection.
