Half-Masting of Flags following the Passing of Brian Mulroney
Université de Moncton joins the nation in mourning the passing of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. As a mark of respect and to honour his memory, Université de Moncton will fly the flags at half-mast on its three campuses - Edmundston, Moncton and Shippagan - on the day of the state funeral, March 23, to reflect the national mourning and our institution's deep appreciation for former Prime Minister Mulroney.
"Université de Moncton extends its sincere condolences to Mr. Mulroney's family, friends and all those touched by his passing," said Denis Prud'homme, Vice-Chancellor and Rector of Université de Moncton.
Recognized for his leadership and significant contributions to Canada and the world, former Prime Minister Mulroney leaves behind a legacy of progress and cooperation
