Olivier Adam is UMoncton athlete of the week
Olivier Adam of Drummondville Québec is the IRM Moncton MRI athlete for the week of Feb. 26 to March 3rd, 2024, as chosen by the Athletic Department of the Moncton campus of the Université de Moncton.
Goaltender Olivier Adam had two excellent games between the pipes for the Aigles Bleus during the postseason in AUS men's hockey. He made 34 saves on Tuesday night to lead his team to a 4-1 win in Game 3 of the semi-final series. He then had a 40-save night in the first game of the final on Saturday evening. Many of those saves came in the last split second to keep his team in the game. He was his team's first star of the game in both matches. He is a 1st year civil engineering student.
