Volleyball: Huskies visit Aigles Bleues on Wednesday
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues will play a one-night game on Wednesday when they host the Saint Mary's University Huskies in an Atlantic University Sport women's volleyball game at 7 p.m. at the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud gymnasium on the Moncton campus.
Moncton (17-7-10=14pts, 5th position) must win if the team wants to keep a chance of making the postseason with a 6-point deficit to the UNB Reds (18-10-8=20pts, 4th position) and only 3 games to play. The Reds have 2 more games against the Aigles Bleues this weekend. The Huskies (11-6=22pts) already have their place secured. This game was scheduled for February 8th.
“It's a must win game for us,” said Aigles Bleues head coach Joline Richard. “We've had some success against the Huskies this season and we're going to have to be aggressive on the court. We're looking forward to this game.”
Sara Chiasson and Ivana Urquhart-Mladinéo will play their 50th game in a blue and gold uniform.
