Cassandra Call of Navan, Ontario, and Mika Cyr of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick, are the IRM Moncton MRI athletes for the week of January 29 to February 4, 2024, as chosen by the Athletic Department of the Moncton campus of the Université de Moncton.

Defenceman Cassandra Call was named player of the game in the Aigles Bleues women's hockey win on Friday evening. She scored her team's first goal on the power play to tie the game at 1-1 and give her team confidence late in the first period. She then set up the play and picked up an assist on the game-winning goal late in the third period. She took 4 shots on goal and blocked 2 shots in front of her net. She is a 1st year master's student in Education-school administration.

Aigles Bleus center and team captain Mika Cyr had quite a game on Friday. He was his team’s motivator with an offensive production of 3 goals and 2 assists, +4 with 5 shots on goal and he won 10 of 25 faceoffs. That's quite an accomplishment for a player returning to the game following a one-year absence due to injury. He was the first star of the game. His team trailed 2-1 after the first period. He then scored 3 times in a row, twice in the second period to give his team a 3-2 lead and his 3rd shorthanded at the start of the third gave his team a 4-2 lead. He had an assist on the first and 5th and game-winning goal. He is a 4th year student in the Bachelor of Education-physical education program.
