Volleyball: Aigles Bleues vs. Tigers
The Atlantic University Sport women's volleyball rankings show three teams with 10 points, and they will give it their all this weekend when activities resume, including the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues who are in 4th place and in a playoff spot for the first time in a while.
The Aigles Bleues won their last two weekend games and will face the Dalhousie University Tigers twice on Friday night and Saturday afternoon in Halifax, with both teams having identical records of 5 wins and the same number of losses. The Tigers have lost their last two games. It's an opportunity to take a 4-point lead.
“Our team is looking forward to these weekend games,” said coach Joline Richard. “We are gaining experience with each game, and we need to confirm our 4th position at the end of play. All the players are motivated and ready to give the best of themselves to eventually qualify for the end-of-season playoffs.”
Emily Robichaud will play her 60th game with the Aigles Bleues on Friday, and Émilie-Anne Chiasson her 45th.
