Hockey: Panthers and Aigles Bleues play Saturday in Moncton
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (9-7-0-2=20pts, 5th position) will do everything they can to get back to winning ways when they host the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers (4-10-0-2=10pts, 7th position) on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena in an Atlantic University Hockey women's hockey game.
The Blue and Gold have lost their last 4 games and the Panthers their last three.
“We're going to focus on the details that caused us the loss on Wednesday,” said Lianne Desforges of the Aigles Bleues. “We're also going to make sure we play better on the ice.”
According to coach Marc-André Côté, “UPEI is fighting for survival right now and I'm expecting a close game. We need to be focused and not give them chances.”
The Aigles Bleues dropped to No. 5 following last Wednesday's loss to the Saint Mary's University Huskies.
