Izabelle Gallant joins the Aigles Bleues
Aigles Bleues coach Mehyar Zekaroui is pleased that Grande-Digue's Izabelle Gallant has signed her U SPORTS letter of agreement to play with the Aigles Bleues in Atlantic University Sport soccer for the 2024-2025 season.
Izabelle Gallant, 17, measures 5 feet 3 inches tall and is originally from Grande-Digue. She has played with the Dieppe Soccer Clubs, school soccer, Canada Games teams and with various NB teams at the National Championships and in the Senior League.
“I'm familiar with the team and I wanted to play with the Aigles Bleues,” said Gallant. “My family members will be able to come and watch me play and it's in a beautiful stadium. I'd like to have a positive impact on the team and win a university championship.”
Gallant has been in the sport for 14 years. Her strengths are teamwork and determination. She hopes to be more confident in all her abilities.
She will continue her studies in physical education.
