Aigles Bleus-Panthers game Tuesday in Charlottetown
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (8-4-2-0=18pts, 3rd position) take to the Confederation Bridge on Tuesday for an Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey game against the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers (5-9-0-0=-10pts, 5th position) at 7 p.m. in Charlottetown.
Despite their lower ranking, the Panthers have the Aigles Bleus number, having won both meetings this season between these two clubs.
“We've just won our last two games and we're going to keep that wave going against the Panthers,” said Aigles Bleus coach Derek Cormier. “It's not going to be easy playing in Charlottetown. We had an intense practice on Monday to make sure we could start the game well and play 60 minutes. We want to end the Panthers success against our team.”
The Panthers won their last outing, 5-3 against Dalhousie University Tigers, and the game is promising. The game can be watched at the AUStv.ca.
