Aigles Bleues visit Mounties on Thursday
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (7-3-0-2=16pts, 3rd position) visit the Mount Allison University Mounties (0-8-2-1=3pts, 7th position) on Thursday in Sackville at 7 p.m. at the Tantramar Civic Centre in an Atlantic University Sport women's hockey game.
The game is promising even though the Mounties have lost all 11 of their games due to the rivalry between these two teams on the ice. It was a last-minute goal that gave the Aigles Bleues a 4-3 win in the first meeting at the same venue.
“The Mounties are a challenge for our group,” said Aigles Bleues coach Marc-André Côté. “Above all, don't be fooled by their record. They've been playing good hockey lately and they're competitive in every game. Our habits will have to be good, and we will have to focus on all the details. We must also make sure we work harder than the Mounties.”
The game can be followed at the AUStv.ca.
