Cross Country: two Aigles Bleues athletes at U SPORTS
The Université de Moncton will be represented by two athletes on Sunday at the U SPORTS Cross Country Championships at Western University in London, Ont.
Sophie Black of Dieppe and Hannah Levyssohn of Moncton posted the best times for the Aigles Bleues at the Atlantic University Sport Championships in Halifax two weeks ago. Levyssohn is a nominee for the National Community Service Award, having won the Atlantic Award.
“Our goal is simple, to have the best times of the season for these two athletes,” said coach Steve LeBlanc. “They will be able to benefit from the experience while setting their best times.”
The 8km race will be Sunday at noon on a 5km and 3km loops.
