Hockey: 2 Aigles Bleues home games
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (6-3-0-1=13pts, 4th position) play two important home games this weekend in Atlantic University Sport women's hockey action.
The Dalhousie University Tigers (4-6-0-0=11 pts, 6th position) will be the opponents on Friday and the St. Thomas University Tommies (6-2-1-0=13 pts, 3rd position) on Saturday, both games at 7 p.m. the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena in Moncton.
All three teams have similar records and coach Marc-Andre Côté is looking to move up in the standings and open up a gap between his team and the other two.
“We hope that motivation will be easy with the presence of parents this weekend,” said Marc-André Côté. “We didn't give our best effort against these two teams this year and they took advantage of that. We hope to come out stronger and offer them a better opposition. It's good to have our parents come to support their daughters on the weekend. They are part of the Aigles Bleues family.”
Arena ticket office opens at 6 p.m. each evening.
