Volleyball: Aigles Bleues in Toronto for 3 games
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues will have an interesting experience this weekend by playing 3 games in as many days in a university women's volleyball tournament at the University of Toronto.
Joline Richard's proteges have one win and one loss so far in the preseason ahead of the start of the Atlantic University Sport regular season on Saturday, Oct. 28.
“We're excited to make this trip to Toronto to play Ontario league teams,” said coach Joline Richard. “It will be a moment for us to put into practice the work of our training since the beginning of the season and to distinguish ourselves and show our colours. It's our first trip out of the AUS league with this group, so we're looking forward to it. We are a united team, and all players will have an important assignment to play in all games.”
The Aigles Bleues practice with York University on Thursday and their first game will be Friday against Nippissing at 5 p.m. On Saturday at 12 p.m., the Bleue et Or will face TMU and on Sunday against the University of Toronto at 1 p.m. (ADT).
