Goaltender Annick Boudreau will have the chance to play in front of family and friends on Saturday evening as the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues play their third exhibition game when the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers visit the Eugène (Gene) LeBlanc Arena in Memramcook in an Atlantic University Sport women's hockey game at 7 p.m.

The Aigles Bleues are preparing for the regular season that begins Wednesday, October 4 against the Panthers in Charlottetown. This meeting will serve as a test for this opening game of the season.

“I hope to see a progression following our games last week in Ottawa,” said Aigles Bleues head coach Marc-André Côté. “We have to execute better on the ice, and we corrected some plays this week in practice.”

The team has decided to play in Memramcook and will offer training sessions to young Panthères girls from Dieppe/Memramcook minor hockey before the game. Some team members were able to play in front of family and friends in Ottawa last week. “We want to make sure our players can play in their community,” added the coach. “We have other projects for the next few years.”

All players should have the chance to play Saturday in this last preseason game. The public is invited to the game.
