The men's and women's cross-country teams from the Université de Moncton campus will take part in a second university meet in Nova Scotia.

The athletes will be in Wolfville for the Atlantic University Sport race, with starts at noon (men) and 1 p.m. (women). The distance of both races will be 8km. Coach Steve LeBlanc is looking forward to seeing his athletes in action to assess their progress since the first competition on September 9 in Antigonish.

This is our second preparatory race for the SUA championship," adds the coach, confident that his athletes will be able to improve their performance. After that, we'll be adding more group racing. In fact, our latest training sessions have been more focused on fast races, to help our athletes improve their physical conditioning.

The Aigles Bleues taking part in the race are Amélie Cormier, Hannah Levyssohn, Annie Clarke, Gabrielle Côté and Madalyn MacKinnon. The Aigles Bleus on the starting line will be Julien Thibodeau, Alain Lavoie and Yannick Dupuis.

The SUA championship is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, in the Halifax area.
