Aigles Bleus in Saint John to face Reds in volleyball match
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus and the University of New Brunswick Reds
will face off in an Atlantic University Sport pre-season volleyball match on Saturday in
Saint John.
For the past three weeks, Joline Richard's team has been preparing
for the regular season, which begins at the end of October. Saturday's game will be
the first, with a return match on the Moncton campus next Friday. "We're looking
forward to putting into practice what we've seen so far in training," said Joline
Richard, who is entering her third season as head coach. "The team has a good mix of
experienced players and rookies who complete a very good synergy. The Saint John game will
be interesting because of the rivalry between these two New Brunswick teams.
