The Université de Moncton supports the people of Morocco and donates $15 000 to the Moroccan Association of New Brunswick
The Université de Moncton has donated $15 000 to the Moroccan Association of New Brunswick to help the people of Morocco shaken by a devastating earthquake.
"Our thoughts are with the Moroccan people, our students, our colleagues from Morocco, and the large Moroccan community in New Brunswick. The Moroccan people are an example of resilience, and we want to support them during this difficult times," said Denis Prud'homme, President and Vice-Chancellor of the Université de Moncton.
Morocco is the 2nd largest country in terms of international enrolments, representing 10 % of the international student population at the three Université de Moncton campuses.
