89% of AEUM ratifies Université de Moncton administration agreement
Members of the Association des employés de l'Université de Moncton - Personnel de soutien administratif et le personnel d'entretien et métier (AEUM) today, September 1, ratified an agreement for a new labour contract.
For President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Denis Prud’homme, "The real capital of our university is its human capital. I would like to thank the negotiating committees for their dedication, and, for us, this agreement reflects recognition of the talent of our staff members", he adds, "this stability enables us to ensure a quality student experience, and is in line with our strategy of providing a healthy, stimulating and caring environment for the entire university community".
The University administration will submit the agreement for approval by the Board of Governors at its next meeting on September 23, 2023, in Edmundston, New Brunswick.
