Andrée Roy Appointed Dean of the Faculty of Administration
The Board of Governors has appointed Andrée Roy as Dean of the Faculty of Administration at the Université de Moncton.
Andrée Roy has been a full professor of Organizational Information Systems at the Université de Moncton, Moncton campus, for just over 25 years. With a PhD in business administration from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (2007) and an MBA from the Université de Moncton (1989), she has a wealth of professional and management experience at the university level. She is currently director of the accounting department, a position she has held since 2016. She served as interim associate dean of academics in 2022. In addition, she has been responsible for techno-pedagogical initiatives, director of two international mobility projects and director of the Centre Assomption de Recherche et de Développement en Entrepreneuriat (CARDE).
Committed to her community, she has been a consultant and manager at various levels in e-learning, web training and entrepreneurship, encouraging the next generation of professionals and promoting best practices.
Ms. Roy will take office on July 1, 2023, for a regular five-year term.
