Université de Moncton Researchers Publish Research Protocol on Retention of Healthcare Professionals
Thanks to funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), health services management researchers Stéphanie Collin and Claire Johnson, and nursing researchers Marie-Eve Laforest and Anik Dubé, have published an open-access scientific article on the retention of doctors and nurses working in Francophone and Acadian communities in New Brunswick.
The research team also includes a research associate with the Institut du Savoir Montfort and the Université du Québec en Outaouais, Martin Lauzier, who specializes in human resources management and development, and Dr. Michel H. Landry, from the Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau-Brunswick.
Working in close collaboration with the Réseau de santé Vitalité, the researchers are currently analyzing the qualitative and quantitative data collected over the past year.
