Ultimate game: The Aigles Bleues in Halifax on Saturday
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (1-1) intend to advance to the semifinals when they travel to Halifax on Saturday to face the Saint Mary's University Huskies (1-1) in the third and decisive game of the Atlantic University Sport women's hockey quarterfinal series.
The Huskies won the first duel 3-1 and the Aigles Bleues, the second 4-2 on Thursday. “We'll be tougher on the ice and on the bench,” said Shani Rossignol. “We must not stop playing our game. We need to control our emotions and have confidence.”
For coach Marc-André Côté, “we played very well in both games. Our special units have a big role to play. We are going there with the intention of coming back with the victory and continuing to the semi-finals.”
The Aigles Bleues are the underdog team, having lost games to the Huskies during the regular season. The game will be visible on AUStv.ca starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.
