Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues volleyball coach Joline Richard is pleased to announce that athlete Hannah Lytwyn will join her team for the upcoming Atlantic University Sport season.

The 17-year-old volleyball player lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Originally from that city, she currently plays for the Cobras Volleyball Club and the Olympiens du Collège Jeanne-Sauvé at the high school level (AAAA SCAC).

“I'm really looking forward to playing for the Aigles Bleues,” she said. “I wanted to join the Aigles Bleues because of the community. All the players are very open, kind, and supportive. The level of competition between the players offers good chances to improve. The Université de Moncton is like a big family. I want to live a memorable experience.”

Lytwyn hopes to create new relationships with her new team. She has been playing in the sport for six years and wants to become a better player. “I want to eventually take everything I learn with the Aigles to help young athletes. I do everything I can to keep the ball in the air. I want to become a better player and improve my muscle power.” She will pursue studies in biology.

“We are very pleased that Hannah has chosen to join the Aigles Bleues next year,” said coach Joline Richard. “Her size, athleticism, experience, and determination will add power to our team. Welcome to the nest of the Aigles Hannah.”
