Emily Robichaud and Lamine Touré are the UMoncton Athletes of the Week
Athletes Emily Robichaud of Dieppe and Lamine Touré of Moncton, New Brunswick, are the IRM Moncton MRI athletes of the week from October 31 to Nov. 6th 2022 as chosen by the Athletic Department of the Moncton campus of the Université de Moncton.
Emily Robichaud stood out defensively for the Aigles Bleues in volleyball in her team’s both games of the week. Robichaud had 19 defensive digs in one game and 8 in the second against the UNB Reds. She is a third-year student in Business Administration (Marketing).
In his first season with the soccer Aigles Bleus, Lamine Touré scored twice last week for his team at the Atlantic University Sport Championship Tournament. He scored the winning goal that allowed his team to advance to the semifinals. His team's only goal in the semi-final was his work. He is Bachelor of Sport Management, Recreation and Tourism student.
