Women's Hockey: Aigles Bleues vs Tommies Wednesday
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (0-1-1) will travel west Wednesday to meet the St. Thomas University Tommies in the first of two preseason games in Atlantic University Sport women's hockey.
Following a weekend against NCAA Division 1 teams in Boston, the Blue and Gold now face a team from its conference. “We learned things and made corrections,” said head coach Marc-André Côté. “We will build on our first two games in pre-season mode. It will be a good challenge; the Tommies have always been strong opponents. We will have a better idea where we are in our training.”
The return game is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena. The start of the regular season will be on Friday, October 7.
