A second Atlantic University Sport cross country competition will be held Saturday in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley as Acadia University teams host those from other universities in Wolfville.

The two teams from the Université de Moncton will make the trip to get a better idea of their progress following extensive training last week. Coach Steve LeBlanc is looking forward to measuring improvements following the first race held two weeks ago.

"For the men, it will mark the first time the whole team will be together in a race," said the coach. “They will work together to build a presence in the peloton. I expect the men to finish again in a tight group for positions. Very good individual results and a good team score are expected.” The participating Aigles Bleus are Alain Lavoie, Jérémie Gervais, Jonathan Roy, Vincent Leclair, Julien Thibodeau, Maxime Savoie, and Olivier Godin.

A full women's team will be on site for the competition. "We will be able to compete in the team standings this time," he explained. “It will be a good test to see where we stand in the conference. I expect Hannah to pave the way for our team. Good performances are anticipated from everyone.” The participating Aigles Bleues are Myriam Cormier, Isabella Lemaire, Hannah Levyssohn, Amélie Cormier, and Camille Ruest.
