McCain Foods (Canada) has an immediate full time permanent position for an Agreement Analyst reporting to the Manager, Retail Finance. This person is responsible for the critical finance role of entering and maintaining the contract agreements within SAP/Vistex which subsequently controls internal accruals and external settlements which are crucial to assist in decisions to deliver profitable growth in both the short and long-term. The individual will also assist with a variety of analytical project. This is a highly visible role that provides excellent career advancement opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Agreement Entry and Maintenance

§ Responsible for entering contract agreements into SAP/Vistex

§ Maintain agreements as required by business plan changes.

§ Ownership of the business plans for the accounts that have been assigned.

§ Co-ordinate with the Customer Development Manager for each account to insure the business plans are accurate and current.

§ Work with the pricing team to promptly resolve and pricing discrepancies on incoming orders

§ Maintaining Trade Tool making sure all agreements are set up and accruals are being interface to SAP/Vistex

Financial and Strategic Analysis

§ Work with their Financial Analyst in the review of business plans

§ Work with their Financial Analyst doing Post-Mortem review of promotions to determine strategic value/success of the promotion.

§ As required, prepare and maintain key monthly analytics such as Forecast Accuracy, etc.

§ Provide quarterly True Up analysis in hand with Financial Analyst.

§ Identify opportunities for business improvement.

§ Provide analysis and insights to Customer Development Managers on promotional spend efficiencies and best practices

Exigences : EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

§ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - preferred

§ CPA preferred, or be in the process of or willing to start the work towards obtaining CPA

§ Experience with CPG or other food manufacturing companies a definite plus

§ Strong technical, analytical and systems skills; (Excel, Access, Power Point, Microstrategy)

§ SAP experience preferred

§ Self-starter, ability to work independently

§ Solid oral and written communication skills

§ Detail oriented and strong organizational skills

§ Ability to build relationships, manage conflict and embrace change

§ Ability to apply broad business perspectives and experiences to identify opportunities/risks.
