Candidates from other provinces and countries must have received an education that is judged to be equivalent by the Admission Committee. Courses judged to be equivalent to those
indicated will be considered for admission.
In certain cases, the Admission committee may consider a student who normally does not meet the language admission requirement (grade 12 French language course). French training
may be specified as a requirement for undertaking studies at Université de Moncton
Recognition of International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement Courses
The Université de Moncton values the high standards of International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Credits will be given for higher level courses deemed
to be the equivalent of courses offered at UdeM when the student’s mark is 4/7 or above on the IB exam or 3/5 or above on the AP exam.
5. Special condition (for requirements of condition “D” regarding advanced mathematics): A student who does not have the necessary advanced mathematics course (for example -
introduction to differential and integral calculus) can still be admitted, on the condition that he or she enroll in an equivalent course in mathematics at Université de Moncton. However,
the credits from this course cannot be counted towards completion of their degree. Also, for those admitted under this special condition, a 5
th
course (chosen from the list of eligible
courses) will be deemed necessary in order to conform to admission requirements.
