A VERY GENEROUS
SCHOLARSHIP
PROGRAM
We have one of the most generous scholarship programs
in the country, where one out of every three students receives
a scholarship. An average of 80% or more automatically
awards you a scholarship. These renewable scholarships can
reach up to $12,000 for 4-year programs and $15,000 for
5-year programs. Also, the student with the highest average
graduating from an English school within Atlantic Canada could
have his or her tuition paid for the duration of his or her degree!
Academic merit scholarships
Bourses d’excellence Roméo-LeBlanc
One scholarship will be awarded to the student with the highest
average graduating from an English School within Atlantic Canada.
This scholarship will be calculated based on marks from grade 11
and the first semester of grade 12. An application with transcript
of your marks from grade 11 and the first semester of grade 12
must be received before the last day of February.

One excellence scholarship is also awarded to the International
Baccalaureate student who, among all students who have
completed the full IB program, acquired the highest overall
points at the end of the school year. An application (with transcript)
must be received before the last day of February. Students must
provide their final IBO transcript after obtaining their diploma.

International Baccalaureate Bonus
In addition to other scholarships, all students who have completed
the full International Baccalaureate program are awarded a bonus
scholarship based on their marks. Students must provide their
final IBO transcript after obtaining their diploma.

receive a scholarship at Université de Moncton.
Women in engineering:

Scholarships Based on Extra-Curricular Activities

Science Scholarships
$500
for students registered in a baccalaureate program in science
and who have obtained an overall average of 75% to 87.9%.
* To qualify for renewal, beneficiaries must remain enrolled for a minimum of 12 credits per session, and maintain a minimum average of 3,80 after each year of study (fall and winter sessions). For the first year only, beneficiaries who attain an average between
3.70 and 3.79 will receive a renewal of 50% of the value of the scholarship.
** The amount of the scholarship varies according to the date on which the application for admission is made (in all cases, a transcript is required and must be sent with the application):
- If the application for admission is received before December 16, the amount of the scholarship will be based on the student’s grade 11 marks only.The scholarship will be honoured regardless of the student’s grade 12 (first semester) marks. In the case that the
student’s average is higher when first semester marks in grade 12 are considered, the applicant will receive a revised scholarship offer for a higher amount. Students must send a transcript showing their grade 12 (first semester) marks.
- If the application for admission is made after December 15, but before the applicant’s high school diploma is completed, the amount of the scholarship will be based on the student’s first semester marks in grade 12. Students must send a transcript showing both
their grade 11 and grade 12 (first semester) marks.
- If the application for admission is made after applicant has received a high school diploma, the amount of the scholarship will be based on grade 11 and grade 12 marks.
