The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (1-3=2pts, 5th position) will head west on the Trans-Canada highway on Sunday at 2 p.m. to face the University of New Brunswick Reds (3-1=6pts, 2nd position) in an Atlantic University Sport women's volleyball game at the Currie Centre on the capital city campus.
After winning their first game, the Aigles Bleues lost the next three and coach Joline Richard and the team members hope to get back to winning ways against the Reds. UNB won its last outing.
“Since the beginning of the season, we've had some tight scores,” said coach Joline Richard. “My players work hard and are determined. We're able to compete with other teams and our game this weekend is very important for us. We're ready to put the energy to go all out this weekend.”
The team will play its 5th of a 20-game regular season, a quarter of the season. The match can be watched at the AUStv.ca.
